1 ProSim737 Flight Model

1.1 Introduction

The ProSim737 Flight Model is unique and specifically developed for use with ProSim737. Based on true data, this model performs the most realistic behaviour of aircraft dynamics, with a visual outlook of optional pre designed liveries and the ability to personally customize.

The ProSim737 Flight Model is compatible with the following back end simulators:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator X
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator FS-SE
  • Lockheed Martin Prepar3D
    • Version 1.xx
    • Version 2.xx
    • Version 3.xx
    • Version 4.xx

It is recommended to create a default flight, this default flight should be saved as ‘default flight’. Before saving the default flight make sure to select an appropriate weight, fuel and trim value. Always use the virtual cockpit and deselect the cockpit view. On default in the simulation platform settings area the G-effect is selected, always deselect this option to have a realistic flight model view.

Please refer to the ProSim737 Flight Model user manual for more details on the installation and use of the flight model.

1.2 Installation

Download the flight model as described here.

Our advanced flight & visual model comes with its own installer. Separate installers are available for either FSX and Prepar3D® and also one for P3Dv4.x and yet another one for the 737-700 model.

Simply double click on setup.exe of the package you received and follow the instructions on the screen. By default the installer places the ProSim737 Flight Model plane into the ‘Simobjects’ folder of your Flight Simulator™ X or Prepar3D® installation.

In case of P3Dv4.x, the installer will place the model in its separate “Prepar3D v4 Add-ons” folder under your Documents folder. When the next time you start Prepar3D, it will ask if you want to enable your new aircraft. Click “yes”.

No further action is required by the user, apart from selecting our airplane in the simulator, later on.

1.3 Lights (general)

TBA ---

1.4 Dynamic lights (only Prepar3Dv4)

The dynamic lights (available only with P3Dv4.x) can be used in both the VC View and Cockpit View. The choice entirely depends on your preference. Starting from the version 2.6 of the flight model, these dynamic lights also work separately with the corresponding left and right light-related switches in ProSim737.
