1 General information

All SimWorld hardware is natively suported by ProSim - no external driver necessary.

MIP, Pedestal, Gauges and MCP is connected with CAN bus technology. A power cable and CAN bus ‘connection’ cable will be connected to a “SimBox”. The SimBox is connected to the primary computer.

The IO modules will be connected automatically when the "SimWorld hardware support" is enabled in the driver page. The USB should be connected as HID device without any driver installed.

Always follow the instructions supplied with the hardware!

2 Supported specific hardware

2.1 FWD & AFT Overhead

Overhead panels are connected directly with USB interface and not through "SimBox" CAN bus interface.

In ProSim737 System->Config->Configuration->Drivers, enable "SimWorld hardware support"

Restart ProSim737 Systems Both panels are PnP and don't require any further configuration.

2.2 CDU

CDU is connected through SimBox and CAN bus cable.

"SimWorld hardware support" must be enabled in ProSim737 System

Correct role (capt/fo) must be configured in the ProSim737 CDU to match the hardware configuration

2.3 MCP/EFIS

CDU is connected through SimBox and CAN bus cable.

"SimWorld hardware support" must be enabled in ProSim737 System

No configuration neccessary in ProSim737 MCP, but ProSim737 MCP must be running

2.4 MIP

MIP is connected through SimBox and CAN bus cable.

"SimWorld hardware support" must be enabled in ProSim737 System

MIP is PnP and don't require any further configuration.
