The ProSim737 Audio module is a network enabled audio player that is controlled by the ProSim737 System module.

The ProSim737 Audio module is managing all in-cockpit sounds. Environmental audio for example engine sounds, are created by the back end simulator and the ProSim Flight Model.
In connection with the ProSim737 Audio module, the ProSim737 System module contains a comprehensive list of sound files, in addition personalised sounds can be added and stored for playback.
 
The ProSim737 Audio module provides selectable playback events related to radio and cockpit sounds that can be heard from either chosen device, headsets or cockpit speakers.
 
  
===Installing ProSim737 Audio===

The first step is to configure the network settings.
ProSim737 Audio is an optional program that can be used to play ProSim737 audio on a different computer than where the ProSim737 program is installed. This allows to build realistic sound configurations. Once configured, the program does not need any attention and will act as a relay to play any sound it is configured to play.

When the ProSimA320 Audio module is connected  you can use the available cockpit audio sounds. The different sounds can be turned on or off and the individual volume can be adjusted.
Installation is straightforward. If not already done, unpack the software archive ProSimAudio.zip to a directory and copy the contents of this directory to any computer that needs to run ProSim Audio.

For audio channel separation multiple instances of ProSim737 Audio can be used across multiple computers. No more than one instance of ProSim737 Audio is used per computer.
No additional files are needed. All required data, including the audio files, are automatically loaded from the ProSim737 main program when a connection is made.

Volume control can be adjusted by changing the volume value, default 100(%) is selected. To lower the specific sound change a different value, for example 70%.
 
ProSim737 Audio does not require FSUIPC of WideFS.

To open the configuration screen of ProSim737 Audio, right click anywhere in the window and select “Config”.

Sounds are added following these steps:

Add the audio file to ProSimA320 System.
Like all other ProSim737  modules, ProSim737 Audio needs to know the IP address of the machine running the ProSim737 main program. Fill in this information in the “Server” field.

Open ProSimA320 System and select the Audio Addons option:

ProSimA320 System > config > Audio Addons
After connection with the server has been established, the program will display all available sounds from the server. Enable a sound by clicking the button. After exiting the program, the enabled sounds will be stored. This ensures that they are enabled again when the program runs the next time.

It is recommended to create a specific folder to store the addon audio files.

Create a unique name, select the audio file source, when required add a fade in and fade out sound, select if the sound should be played once or continuously and if required select the auto fade option.
After configuring sounds in ProSim737 Audio, all configured sounds will be played when required by the program. There is no configuration necessary in the main ProSim737 program.

For this example the addon sound is saved as “Test Audio”.

1 ProSim737 Audio

1.1 Introduction

When the ProSimA320 Audio module is connected you can use the available cockpit audio sounds. The different sounds can be turned on or off and the individual volume can be adjusted. For audio channel separation multiple instances of ProSim737 Audio can be used across multiple computers. No more than one instance of ProSim737 Audio is used per computer. 1.2 Additional sounds
