1 General information

Cockpit Sonic is using EHID server to connect the hardware to ProSim737 System.

To download the EHID driver, go to EHID homepage From the same page, the "B737 XML config package" should also be installed.

The EHID program should be included with a licence (or provided by the hardware supplier).

2 Supported specific hardware

2.1 GENERAL CONFIGURATION

  1. In ProSim737 System->Config->Configuration->Drivers in the 2 fields "EHID Server" fill in the IP Adsress and port of the computer running the EHID server
  2. Restart ProSim737

2.2 MIP

  • See General configuration, no other configuration necessary.

2.3 Overhead

  • See General configuration, no other configuration necessary.

2.4 Pedestal

  • See General configuration, no other configuration necessary.

2.5 CDU

  1. See General configuration.
  2. In ProSim737 CDU->Configuration->Drivers in the field "For CockpitSonic CDU's" fill in the IP Adsress and port of the computer running the EHID server
  3. Confirm and restart ProSim737 CDU

2.6 Flight Controls

  1. See General configuration.
  2. Flight Controls (elevator/aileron/rudder/tiller/toe brakes) need to be assigned and calibrated in ProSim737 System->Config->Configuration->Combined Config
  3. Select Flight Controls->Lever
  4. This is an example for Aileron captain, but it needs to be done for all connected units
  5. Select EHID from the first list
  6. Select Aileron Captain from the second list
  7. Move the hardware full to the left and click on "Set Max left" in the calibration screen
  8. Move the hardware full to the right and click on "Set Max right" in the calibration screen
  9. Leave the hardware in the center and click on "Set Center" in the calibration screen

2.7 Throttle quadrant

  1. See General configuration.
  2. In ProSim737 MCP->Config->Main go to "CockpitSonic MCP/Throttle"
  3. Enter the IP Address and port of the EHID server and click "Connect"
  4. Thrust levers inputs, thrust reverser inputs, flap input, speed brake input and trim input need to be calibrated.
  5. Thrust levers - Move both levers to idle postion and click on "Set Idle" Move both levers to max thrust and click on "Set Full thrust"
  6. Thrust reversers - Move both reversers down and click on "Set Min" Move both levers up to max reverse and click on "Set Max"
  7. Flaps - Move the flap lever to each postition and click on the corresponding "Set x" button on the screen
  8. Spedbrake - Move the speed brake lever to "down" postition and click on "Set Down" button on the screen Move the speed brake lever to "armed" and click on "Set Arm" button on the screen Move the speed brake lever to "up" position and click on "Set Up" button on the screen

3 Troubleshooting
